Rikku nodded, knowing they should probably get back up to school. "Um...can I put some clothes on first. It's cold up there, and I'm cold right now. I mean, even just my sweatshirt so its quick." She said stumbling since she was having trouble keeping up with his speed, but she wasn't going to complain. She knew she had to keep running at the moment. She concentrated on keeping up with Dyen so she didn't fall over.
"Okay, if you have to beat him...go for it. I'm not going to stop you." She said. "He deserves it anyway. He's lucky I didn't beat him to a pulp."

He nodded, and slowed down his pace just a little bit. Even if someone was chasing them, they had time. It'd be fine to slow a bit. "G'head." He glanced over Rikku's head to see if anyone was following. He didn't see anyone, but chances are they were pretty far behind, so that wasn't a very good indication.
"Heh. Don't worry. I will." He grinned, and this time he slowed to a complete stop, waiting for Rikku to get some clothes on. He didn't want her catching a cold, or hypothermia, or anything like that.

Rikku quickly dug into her bag and grabbed some pants, throwing them on along with her sweatshirt. "Okay that should be fine fine until I get to my room and get dressed completely." She said. She held fast to her bag with one hand, while the other was clamped around her wrist, the one the guy from the pool had hurt. "Um...this has been fun Dyen, thanks for bringing me down here. I really appreciate it."

He smiled a little and nodded. "Hey. No prob. It was fun." His smile grew slowly into a grin, and without warning he hoisted her up, holding her bridal-style. "Ready to fly?" His grin was wide now, and his eyes excited and sparkling. He loved flying. He couldn't wait to get back up; it was fun to mess with everyone down here, but he liked being free to use his abilities more, and prove that he was different. He didn't want to be like everyone else, like the sheep down here.

Rikku was surprised by the sudden jolt, but then smiled at him. She put her arms around his neck so she wouldn't fall, just a security thing for her, and nodded. "Yeah I'm ready, lets get going." She said. Her smile grew as she thought about the day's events. Everything had turned out well, and she'd had a wonderful time. She would definitely come back. Maybe not repeat exactly what happened, even though the beating of the stupid human was fun. She pulled her hand down off of his neck for a minute, noticing the nice purple color her wrist was turning and sighed.

He noticed the unhealthy color of her wrist, too, and his grin faltered. "We can get that healed once we're up at the school. Okay?" Dyen slowly started to rise into the air, making sure they were both properly invisible before doing so. Didn't want to be seen, did they? Definitely not. That'd be bad. Very bad. Yes it would. "You want to fly slow or fast? It'll be a sort of long trip if we take our time, but it didn't really seem like you liked flying fast earlier."
He waited patiently for her answer, flying upwards at a leisurely pace. They were in no hurry, really. Though he did sort of want to fly fast; that was what he was used to.

Rikku shrugged, "It's really not a big deal." She said sighing. "It's not like I'm going to die from it or anything. Besides, it's a battle scar from our fun day." She smiled at him and then thought for a minute. "Go ahead and fly fast if you want. I'm okay with it." She said nodding. She didn't really mind flying fast, it had just startled her earlier. She hadn't been expecting them to take off like that.
"Um...do you want to hang out after we get back to school?" She asked him. "I mean, if you don't have better things to do..."

A wide grin came to his face when she said that he'd be able to fly fast; he loved moving fast. It was just more fun. Then at her question, he blinked, then nodded with a smile. "Sure, that'd be cool. So long as Mary doesn't drag me back to the food court, that is.." His smile became slightly sheepish, and a little bit nervous. He didn't want to go to work. No way. He'd weasel his way out of it if he had to, though. He wanted to spend time with Rikku as much as he didn't want to do any work, and so he would.
And then, now that he felt conversation to be finished, he picked up the speed dramatically. Now, the clouds were starting to whiz by and the wind whipped around, tousling his bleach-blond hair. He let out something that sounded like a heavily-accented "yee-haw", which was quite interesting since the accent was not western, but instead Russian. He was grinning ear-to-ear, the adrenaline rush feeling fabulous.

Rikku nodded at him, but they took off before she could say anything. When she heard him yee-haw, she giggled to herself. It didn't sound bad, but it just wasn't what she would have expected to come from Dyen, plus the accent was definitely wrong. She held tightly to him as they flew up, not sure what to think, but she knew Dyen wouldn't let her fall, so that relaxed her a little bit. She looked up at his face, smiling at his huge grin. He was definitely having himself a grand ol' time. It was clear to her than he liked to fly fast, it was fun for him to do. She thought for a minute and realized that if she could fly, she'd probably like to fly fast as well. She laughed again, enjoying the flight up now.

Dyen made sure to hold on tight to Rikku, so that she wouldn't fall. That would be bad from this height, and thusly he couldn't let it happen. The air around was moist and cold as they rose in altitude, and he felt slightly lightheaded from going upwards so high, so quickly. But that was no problem; he'd done it before and lived up in a very high altitude. He was used to it, as Rikku likely was as well.
"Having fun?" He asked, his heavily-accented French slowly starting to sound more like Rikku's own language. They were getting closer to the school, and the language spell was taking effect.

Rikku laughed and nodded, "Yeah, this is amazing when you get used to it." She said to him as they neared the school. She could understand him now a whole lot better, so she knew they were getting close. "Dyen, this has been an amazing trip. Thanks a bunch!" She said happily, smiling a huge happy smile at him. She could feel the effects of the altitude kicking in and shook off the lightheadedness that had seemed to come on quickly. It would pass in a moment she knew, she was used to feeling like this after being up here so long so it wasn't a problem.

He nodded, still grinning wide. "You're welcome. It was fun." The clouds and blue continued to whoosh by, and soon enough, the floating school was within sight. The trip back up hadn't taken long at all. "Home sweet home, eh?" Dyen smiled at Rikku as he landed on the grass that coated the hard ground of the little floating island. He took a few steps to balance himself, and then stopped, placing the girl on the ground gently. He then withdrew his arms and let them drop to his sides.
"So, you want to hang out some more, then?" He blinked at her slowly, a tiny smile remaining on his face.

Rikku almost fell over when he let go of her. She had to steady herself after the ride up and wasn't expecting him to let go so quickly. She caught herself and then put her hands in the pocket of her sweatshirt. She smiled at him when he started to talk. "Yup, I'd love to, but first I need to put some actual clothes on. Um...you can come with me up to my room if you want, and I can change up there. It will be easier that way anyway." She said and turned. She started to walk towards the building. She realized she was walking fast, like she most often did and slowed down her pace so it was more of a walk than a jog, that way the two of them could talk easier.

He nodded, and followed after her at his own leisurely pace, hands jammed into his pockets. Dyen gave a little sigh as they entered the building, warmth greeting them along with the soft clack of shoes against tile floors. Familiar ground, where he could be truly himself and different without getting hunted down to be experimented on. That was why he didn't like humans, see. He wanted to express himself, and he couldn't around them, with their simple-minded beliefs.
He had to be different, had to stand out. ...Maybe he should've tried out for American Idol or something. That'd be funny. He mused over that for a bit, and chuckled under his breath at the thought. Maybe he would. Just for kicks. Hah.

Rikku laughed at Dyen as they walked. "Hey Dyen, what do you think we should do? I mean, we are back on our turf, so we can do almost anything." She smirked as ideas ran through her mind. They reached her room and she left the door open, letting Dyen come in. She grabbed some clothes as she went into her bathroom to change. She smirked to herself when she came back out in her normal clothes. "Okay, now to figure out what to do." She said.
Rikku laughed to herself a little as she continued to think of some good ideas. Maybe they could play some tricks on some people. That was always fun. Their last mischievous mission had been a blast and she was looking forward to more laughs. It would probably be more fun here.
